Ivana Milošević is a Ph.D. student in Biotechnology at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, and a Junior Research Assistant at the BioSense Institute. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Biochemical engineering at the same university. Since joining the Sensing Technology team in January 2023, her research has focused on the development of biosensors based on flagellar filaments, with a particular emphasis on enhancing their sensitivity for the detection of heavy metals, especially nickel (Ni). Ivana collaborates closely with the University of Pannonia in Hungary and has participated in several professional trainings in Vienna and Hungary. She has presented her work at three international conferences and actively contributes to both national and international research projects. Her expertise extends to the modification of electrochemical biosensors, showcasing her commitment to advancing innovative sensing technologies.
