Dr. Branimir Bajac (M), employed as a senior researcher at the Biosense Institute, received his PhD degree in 2017 at the University of Novi Sad, at the Department of Materials Engineering. He was elected to the title of senior research associate in 2024 at the BioSens Institute in the field of materials science. He is the author and co-author of more than 30 papers in international journals and one book chapter, with an H-index of 11. His PhD includes research on ceramic multiferroic thin films, while his current research interests are in the field of sensor materials and biopolymers for functional food packaging. He has extensive experience in various material processing techniques and film deposition, characterizing their structural and functional properties. In the last 5 years, he has been a member of four Horizon 2020 projects, one EUREKA and two projects of the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia.
