Associate Professor Chemistry Department of the University of Pavia (Italy)
Alessandra Bonanni received her Ph.D. from Universtitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain). She then moved to Japan as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba. After which she worked for twelve years as Senior Lecturer at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Currently, she is Associate Professor at the Chemistry Department of the University of Pavia (Italy). Her research interest is focused on the use of novel nanomaterials for the development of electrochemical and optical devices for food analysis and biomedical applications. She has published over 90 peer-reviewed articles and has an h-index of 38.
