Johana Burgetova completed her Master’s degree in 2000. Since then she has worked at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. She has managed grants under operational programs for universities. She then became head of the unit responsible for the preparation and coordination of the Ministry’s internal grants for the administration of new operational programs. In 2011, she started working for FZU to prepare the implementation of the ELI beamlines project. This was the largest research project carried out in the Czech Republic between 2011 and 2022 with a total budget of over 350 million EUR. As Deputy Director of Eli beamlines she was responsible for all administrative processes related to the project implementation.Since the beginning of September 2024 she has been leading the Project Centre of the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague.
