Dr. Slobodan (Stevan) Birgermajer is a Research associate in the Centre for Sensing Technologies at the BioSense Institute. Mr. Birgermajer received his PhD in electronics 2018 at University of Novi Sad. He authored and co-authored 12 international journal papers, 11 international conference paper, 13 technical solutions, 1 domestic and 1 international patent application, and 1 published international patent. He participates in different national and international projects (FP7, H2020, FP7, RISE, Eureka). Dr. Birgermajer is currently working on development and applications of the sensors in agriculture, food industry, and environmental monitoring, His main research interest includes microwave passive devices, photonic crystals, microfluidic sensors, 3D and 4D printing technologies, and fiber optics. Mr. Birgermajer hold extensive experience in 3D printing technologies, particularly in extrusion-based systems, that keeps him well-positioned to effectively address the inherent challenges of 3D printing with enhanced speed and efficiency.
