Dr. Ljiljana Janjušević is a Research Associate at the BioSens Institute, University of Novi Sad, Serbia, and serves as the Director of the Center for Biosystems at the same institute. She completed her Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral studies at the Department of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, where her doctoral research focused on the biological activities and chemical composition of macrofungi, as well as the essential oils of various plants.
At the BioSens Institute, Dr. Janjušević’s research focuses on the development of advanced sensors and molecular techniques for pathogen detection, biomolecular engineering, and cell agriculture. Her work is dedicated to advancing biosensing technologies that support sustainable agriculture and improve pathogen monitoring.
