At the 8th International Conference on Materials Science and Nanotechnology (ICMSN 2025) in Prague, Dr. Vasa Radonić, PI of the Know4Nano project, presented cutting-edge research on a gold-leaf electrochemical biosensor enhanced with magnetic nanoparticles.
The work demonstrates a novel approach for rapid, sensitive, and selective detection of foodborne pathogens, combining magnetic nanoparticle manipulation with a patterned gold-leaf electrode. This strategy improves analyte capture and signal response, offering significant potential for on-site food safety monitoring.
This presentation highlights Know4Nano’s interdisciplinary research, bridging nanotechnology, materials science, and biosensing to develop practical solutions for food safety applications.
