From July 28 to August 1, 2025, members of the Know4Nano team, Dr. Divakar Botcha, MSc Jovana Paskaš, and Dr. Branimir Bajac, participated in an intensive training week at the Department of Inorganic Chemistry, University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague (UCT Prague), invited by Prof. Dr. Zdeněk Sofer.
The program focused on hands-on synthesis, exfoliation, and characterization of advanced 2D materials, including graphene, MoS₂, and MXenes. Techniques covered included electrochemical and mechanical exfoliation, solution processing, and deposition on solid substrates, with attention to flake size, film thickness, and dispersion density — key parameters in nanotechnology research.
Beyond technical skills, the visit strengthened international collaborations and facilitated knowledge exchange in advanced materials for nanotechnology applications.
