After five inspiring days of expert insights, groundbreaking discussions, and collaborative knowledge-sharing, the Know4Nano Workshop has come to a successful close. Held at the BioSense Institute in Novi Sad from November 25 to 29, 2024, this dynamic event brought together over 100 participants, both live and online, alongside 40 world-class speakers, leading researchers, and enthusiastic attendees. Through a diverse lineup of keynote presentations, interactive sessions, and panel discussions, the workshop became a melting pot of ideas and strategies aimed at addressing global challenges in food safety and sustainability.
Daily Highlights:
Day 1: The opening day set the stage with an exploration of biosensor fundamentals, biomechanics, DNA nanotechnology, and advanced chemical sensing. Experts shared insights into lateral flow biosensors, microfluidics, and nanoscale imaging of 2D materials, providing a strong foundation for cutting-edge innovations.
Day 2: Real-world applications took the spotlight, with biosensors’ transformative role in the food supply chain, bacteria detection methods, and the implementation of QMS systems discussed in depth.
