Know4Nano Team Member Stefan Jarić Successfully Defends PhD Thesis
We are proud to announce that Stefan Jarić, a member of the Know4Nano team, has successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
His doctoral research focused on the development of advanced biosensing platforms based on aptamers and graphene field-effect transistors (GFETs), with particular emphasis on understanding the underlying detection mechanisms and improving biosensor performance. The experimental work was carried out at the BioSense Institute, where Stefan contributed to research activities in the field of biosensing and nanotechnology.
Throughout his academic career, Stefan has gained valuable international experience through research visits to several prestigious institutions, including the National Research University of Electronic Technology (Russia), Vienna University of Technology (Austria), Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Israel), Paris Lodron University Salzburg (Austria), and the National Research Council – Institute of Organometallic Chemistry (Italy).
Stefan has actively participated in numerous international scientific conferences and is the author or co-author of 13 scientific papers published in internationally recognized journals, as well as several conference contributions. His research achievements have resulted in a h-index of 8, according to Scopus and Web of Science.
