Dr. Concetta Montagnese is a tenured researcher at the Institute of Food Sciences (ISA-CNR) in Avellino, Italy, where she has been contributing since 2022. She holds a PhD in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Naples Federico II, obtained in 2011.
Dr. Montagnese’s professional journey spans multiple prestigious institutions. She served as a temporary researcher at the Epidemiology and Biostatistics Unit of the National Cancer Institute Pascale in Naples (2017–2022), at the Department of Clinical Medicine and Surgery, University of Naples Federico II (2015–2016), and at CEINGE-Biotecnologie Avanzate research center in Naples (2013–2015). She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Institute of Child Health, University College London (UCL), in 2011.
