Dr. Ljiljana Šašić Zorić is a Senior Researcher at the BioSense Institute with expertise in Genetics. She received her BSc and MSc in Molecular Biology from the Department of Biology and Ecology, Faculty of Sciences, University of Novi Sad, in 2011 and 2012, respectively. In 2018, she earned her Ph.D. in Biology (Genetics) from the same faculty. Dr. Šašić Zorić is a dedicated, self-motivated, and conscientious researcher with a background in molecular biology, insect molecular taxonomy, population genetics, and biodiversity. Her current research focuses on the application of genomic and metagenomic approaches in biodiversity studies, with implications for agriculture and healthcare. She has extensive practical experience in both laboratory and fieldwork, as well as the skills necessary for effective experimental design. Additionally, she has experience in project coordination and management.
