Duygu is a PhD candidate at Merkoçi’s group. She earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Biotechnology from Ege University. During her master’s thesis, she worked on developing point-of-care electrochemical diagnostic platforms for health applications with clinical trials. Currently, her research focus is developing point-of-care diagnostic platforms and expanding her knowledge in biosensors as a doctoral student.
