Jovana Paskaš is a Ph.D. student in Materials Engineering at the Faculty of Technology, University of Novi Sad, and a Junior Research Assistant at the BioSense Institute. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Materials Engineering at the same university in 2023 and 2024, respectively. During her studies, her research focused on the synthesis of 2D materials – MXenes, as well as their characterization and functionalization. She has participated in various scientific workshops and conferences, and was also involved in organizing one of them.

At the Center for Sensor Technologies, her research includes the development, synthesis, and characterization in the field of 2D materials, as well as their potential applications.
