Zorica Novaković completed her undergraduate studies in 2021 and earned her master’s degree in 2022 from the Department of Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Environmental Protection at the Faculty of Science, University of Novi Sad. Her master’s thesis, titled “Comparison of synthesis methods and characterization of ZnO nanopowders with unique morphologies, structural, and optical properties,” was conducted at the Biosense Institute in Novi Sad. In 2023, she joined the Center for sensor technologies as a Junior researcher. Currently, Zorica is pursuing her doctoral studies in analytical chemistry at the same university. Her PhD research focuses on synthesizing ZnO nanomaterials and their applications in biosensors for pesticide and pathogen detection. She has authored one research paper in an international journal, co-authored a review paper, and presented six papers at international conferences.
