A technical overview of key molecular methods for pathogen detection in food, including mPCR, RT-qPCR, sequencing based methods, loop-mediated isothermal amplification, and REM Analytics’ innovative Advanced Testing for Genetic Composition (ATGC). Examining the principles, advantages, and limitations of each approach, we aim to highlight technologies contributing to food safety diagnostics.
