Talk Title: Developing soft skills in writing project proposals and providing funds for innovative research

In a modern technological world, a researcher or innovator is very often in the position to have multiple roles, to be generator of novel ideas, to realize these ideas, but also to raise and provide new funds to finance development of these ideas into excellent research or innovative products on the market. This talk will target the needs for developing soft skill in writing project proposals. Horizon Europe is the biggest open programme, over the globe, for funding research and innovation. This lecture will be devoted to presenting the structure of this programme, with emphasize on the currently open calls. After that techniques for generating new ideas for project proposals will be explained. Examples of already funded and implemented projects of Prof. Stojanović’s team will be shown. Three main sections: 1. Excellence, 2. Impact, 3. Implementation, will be briefly presented with guidelines how to describe them in a winning project proposal
